Regional offices cross connection enforcement case files.

As part of their mandate to protect drinking water supplies, the Division of Water Supply and its immediate predecessor have regulated backflow devices between public water supplies and other water supplies, pursuant to MGLA c 14, s 160A, implemented by 310 CMR 22.22(3). this program is implemented at the local level under regional offices of the Dept. of Environmental Protection by the various regional engineers for resource protection. This series was created to enforce the provisionso of the cross connection program.
